Looking for high-dividend international ETFs

Hi everyone, I already have a lot invested in VDHG and recently started adding VHY to balance risk and try a new strategy. However, I feel overexposed to the Australian market and want to diversify my dividend ETFs internationally (EU, US, or Asia). What are some high-dividend ETFs focusing on these regions? Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Hi Noah.

Having ‘a lot’ invested in VDHG gives you a lot of global exposure, since global assets make up something like 60% of VDHG’s portfolio.

The next thing is that most global companies pay much lower dividends than Australia does. So looking for high yield ETFs globally is not an easy thing to find.

That said, there are funds like WDIV which seem to pay around 4-5% per year. Not a recommendation, just one I was able to find. Fund page here for more research: https://www.ssga.com/au/en_gb/intermediary/et...

Others may be able to offer other options, but just google around and see what you can find.

Cheers, Dave
